Gianfelice Facchetti, the son of the legendary Giacinto, spoke on the sidelines of Inter legend Giuseppe Bergomi’s book presentation event to FCInterNews.it, firstly on the former Inter defender’s new book.
“We loved Bergomi and he is one of the pillars of the club, so it is nice to know where he started and how he got to get to wear and honour the shirt of Inter and the national team. His story has elements that everyone can relate to.”
Facchetti proceeded to discuss the summer transfer window and believes that keeping a hold of their key players should be the starting point for the Nerazzurri, who are set to compete on three fronts next season.
“Inter will add a few signings, there are currently many names in mind but keeping all the key players from last season seems like a good starting point for them. The coach and leadership have clear ideas and I trust them.”
