The signing of Slovakian center back, Milan Skriniar has been one of the best deals Inter has made in the last ten years. There is no doubt about his instant contribution to the squad, but what is incredible is the deal that took place. Calcio e Finanza published the financial statements of Sampdoria and the economic outlines of the transfer that took place over the summer.

The transfer was broken down as follows: Milan Skriniar cost Inter €5 million + Gianluca Caprari + €7 million in bonuses. To break it down a little further, Inter bought Skriniar for €20 million euros plus 6.93 in bonuses. On the flip side, Inter sold Gianluca Caprari to Sampdoria for 15 million euros.

To sum things up, Inter paid out €5 million cash to Sampdoria for arguably one of the best center backs in Serie A this season, who did not miss a single match. At the end of the season, the €7 million in bonuses were in effect, so the overall sale came out to €12 million.
