Inter and Sassuolo are €10 million apart in their respective evaluations of Matteo Politano according to a report from Premium Sport.
Inter are offering €20 million plus Primavera pair Gabriele Zappa and Davide Merola in return for Politano but Sassuolo want no less than €30 million Politano, as confirmed by president Giovanni Carnevali in an interview with Gazzetta dello Sport earlier today.
The Nerazzurri are in a rush to strike a deal with their Neroverdi counterparts due to wanting to include the sales of both Zappa and Merola on the books for the purpose of meeting their financial fair play taget, which they have just three days left to meet.
Politano starred for Sassuolo last term, netting 11 goals and providing six assists, and is viewed by Inter as an ideal substitute for current starting wingers Ivan Perisic and Antonio Candreva who will need rested throughout the season due to Inter’s participation in the Champions League.
