Upon the launch of the new sports channel, Orange Sport, Inter’s star defender, Milan Skriniar attended as a special guest and answered a few questions. He first spoke about Inter’s path to Champions League stating that “The Champions League was our pre-season goal and I’m glad we managed to reach it.”

When asked who he prefers to play in the Champions League he replied: “I’d rather have the best teams with the best players, I’m curious about which opponents we’ll face. I would like to see other Slovak players and clubs play the Champions League in the future.”

The former Sampdoria player was then asked to compare the Blucerhiati with Inter replying “We all know that Inter is a great team, while Sampdoria is not such a big club, even Zilina is a great club here, but it’s really hard to compare the proportions between Slovak clubs and Italian clubs. The best thing about Inter is everything that surrounds the players, and I do not only speak of the football aspect. If you need something to get done quickly, the people at the club can help you out even if you call them at midnight, so you can focus only on your work on the field.”

In conclusion Skriniar was asked about the pressure of playing at Inter to which he replied: “Surely there is more pressure for us players, Inter is always expected to reach the highest goals.”
