Inter are prepared to offer Spurs €12 million plus a counterpart in return for Mousa Dembele according to a report from English newspaper the Daily Express.
Spurs value the Belgian midfielder at around €30 million but Inter are unwilling to meet the north London club’s demands for the player, who has just one year left on his current contract.
The Daily Express go on to report that any move will be postponed until the 30-year-old’s involvement at the World Cup with Belgium is over but reports within Italy have suggested that Nerazzurri sporting director Piero Ausilio has held talks with both his representatives and Spurs on several occasions.
Dembele is understood to be Inter’s top priority for central midfield and a move to Milan would see him re-united with former international teammate Radja Nainggolan, who recently completed a transfer to San Siro from fellow Serie A club Roma for €24 million plus Davide Santon and Nicolo Zaniolo.
