Mousa Dembele’s decision to seek a move away from Tottenham Hotspur this summer comes down to physical reasons according to a report from Het Laatste Nieuws in the midfielder’s native Belgium.
The 30-year-old feels his body can no longer cope with the high intensity training that Spurs manager Mauricio Pochettino puts his side through as per the report.
Dembele has drawn interest from Inter, who see him as a priority signing for centre midfield, as well as interest from China where a mouth watering sum of money awaits him if he chooses to go down that path.
The Belgian international is valued at €30 million by the north London club but Inter are not interested in paying this amount for him due to the fact he has just a year left on his current contract.
Het Laatste Nieuws go on to state that things will become clearer with regard to Dembele’s future once his participation at the World Cup is over.
