Inter are prepared to offer Mousa Dembele a two-year deal with an option of a further two years at their Chinese cousins Jiangsu Suning as per a report from Mediaset.
The Belgian midfielder is understood to be Inter’s primary target for central midfield but they face strong interest from Chinese clubs for his signature.
Inter’s proposal would give the 30-year-old the best of both worlds in a sense wherein he could remain in Europe for a few more years as he is believed to desire and then move to Jiangsu for one last big pay day.
His price however remains a stumbling block to the deal coming to fruition. Spurs are demanding €30 million for Dembele, despite the fact he has just a year left on his current contract with the north London club. Inter are unwilling to pay this for him for that reason and it has been raised in the media that Inter could insert a counterpart such as Joao Mario to help a deal go through at a lesser price.
