Gazzetta dello Sport have given a big update on the renewal situation of Alessandro Florenzi with Roma.
“Roma has offered €2.7 million plus bonuses, guaranteeing Florenzi to earn over 3 million per year, but the player as an offer from Inter of €4 million and wants guarantees for playing time and position”, reports the Milanese newspaper.
More updates will arrive in the coming days, as Roma expect an answer before the pre-season retreat, so by this weekend. If there isn’t an answer, the situation will become far more complicated and the prospect of Florenzi leaving Roma, who he has great affection for, could become far more likely than is currently believed.
Florenzi is another player who is well known by Luciano Spalletti from his time at Roma and has a very similar story to Kwadwo Asamoah, in the sense that they were midfielders converted to a full-back, making them very versatile, which is clearly of interest to Inter.
