Former Juventus defender Antonio Cabrini believes that the Bianconeri remain the team to beat in Italy next season but insists three or four teams can certainly challenge them for the honour of being Italian champions.

Much like when Cabrini was with Juventus, the Turin club have reigned supreme over Italian football as evidenced by their seven straight scudetto victories.

“Juventus remains the team to beat but there are three or four teams that are trying to win the Scudetto. Napoli, Inter and one of Roma and Lazio [can all do it] while a question mark remains above Milan, because they are of course going through a particularly difficult moment,” he said in an interview with Radio Cusano Campus.

Cabrini proceeded to speak on what he believes Juventus’ intentions are for the coming season.

“I think that Juventus’ idea at the moment is to challenge for both the Champions League and the Serie A titles.”
