Real Betis director Lorenzo Serra has confirmed that the Spanish side are working on a deal to bring Inter linked William Carvalho to the Estadio Benito Villamarin.
“Yes I can confirm, we are dealing with William Carvalho. It’s difficult because he’s a great player, but we hope to be able to close the deal soon. He is a player who would increase the value of the team, which is already good. The arrival of an international player with these characteristics would be very positive. But it’s not closed, we have to wait. We are hopeful, but the player also has great offers from other clubs,” Serra revealed in an interview with EstadioDeportivo.
The 26-year-old Portuguese international, who played in all four games for his country at the World Cup, has drawn interest from Inter as well as a host of clubs from the Premier League including Manchester United, Arsenal and West Ham.
