Inter are closing in on the €1.2 million signing of La Spezia youngster Samuele Mulattieri according to a report from Milan based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport.
The Nerazzurri have fought off competition from rivals Juventus and Premier League duo West Ham and Everton and the 17-year-old attacking midfielder could sign the contract today and begin his adventure with Inter.
Mulattieri’s signing will help Inter in the rebuilding of their Primavera side which was almost completely emptied for the sake of Inter reaching their financial fair play goal of raising €45 million in capital gains last month.
The Italian youth international starred for the Serie B club’s Primavera side last term scoring no less than 14 goals in 21 games across all competitions which saw him rewarded with three first team appearances toward the end of the season where the Aquilotti narrowly missed out on promotion to Serie A via the Serie B playoffs in which they lost out to Parma.
