Sampdoria president Massimo Ferrero has confirmed La Samp are shopping for a striker during this transfer window and revealed that Inter have offered them Eder in return for promising midfielder Dennis Praet.
“Right now we like Gregoire Defrel from Roma. We liked him last year, so we will see if an agreement can be found with the Giallorossi,” Ferrero told Il Secolo XIX.
Ferrero proceeded to speak on the Eder for Praet offer in his typical fashion and made it clear that Inter must pay the Belgian’s release clause if they wish to sign him.
“If not, Inter continue to offer us Eder for Praet, but I am against this reheated soup. As for Praet, unless they pay the clause, I will try to keep him because a midfield with a strong regista, Praet on one side and Jankto on the other, plus Linetty and the others we have, is better than mid-table.”
