Barcelona no longer believe that a deal can be reached that would see Rafinha make a return to Inter according to a report from Spanish news outlet Mundo Deportivo.

This comes partly down to the fact that the Brazilian has a lot more interest and has attracted several interesting proposals for the Catalan club. The latest club to have made an offer for the midfielder is Benfica who have made a loan offer while a number of clubs from the Premier League and even Serie A are also believed to be keen.

The 25-year-old attacking midfielder joined Inter on a six month loan deal back in the January transfer window with the Nerazzurri having an option to turn the move permanent at the end of last season for €35 million but due to financial fair play reasons, Inter did not take up their option. In recent weeks Inter have appeared to move on to other targets but have maintained their interest in Rafinha in spite of this.
