Inter are interested in signing Liverpool youth talent Taiwo Awoniyi according to a report from Spanish news outlet Sport.
The Nigerian youth international, who has spent the past three seasons out on loan with clubs in Germany, Holland and most recently Belgium, has attracted widespread interest from a number of clubs within England as well as further a field in Europe.
Aside from the Nerazzurri, the 20-year-old centre forward is understood to have drawn an interest from Barcelona, Manchester City, Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspur however Liverpool have absolutely no intention of allowing anyone near him and have decided they wish to give him a new long term contract with the club to deter the interest.
Last season Awoniyi, who was part of the Nigerian U17 World Cup winning side back in 2013, was on loan with Royal Excel Mouscron in the Belgian Jupiler Pro League where he scored 10 goals and made seven assists in 31 appearances across all competitions.
