Inter vice-president has spoke on the arrival of Cristiano Ronaldo at rivals Juventus and Inter’s goals for this coming season.

The Bianconeri completed the signing of the multi-time world player of the year on a four year contract in a transfer that saw Real Madrid pocket in excess of €100 million for the 33-year-old attacker.

“His arrival will not only impact the league but also the economic side of the game too. It is a great incentive for all the teams to reinforce. We have other types of objectives and we are happy with what we have done in the transfer window so far,” Zanetti revealed in an interview with Channel 5 show Balalaika.

Zanetti concluded, “Our goal is to be competitive again this year and going back to the Champions League is a starting point. Ronaldo is a great champion and professional. He will not have any problems with Juventus, he knows how to behave very well.”
