Inter midfielder Roberto Gagliardini has taken stock of the current situation following the completion of the fourth day of pre-season preparations at Appiano Gentile, discussing how he feels personally as well as how the new faces have done.
“I feel good, we are training hard and in the right way. The group is tightly knit, the youngsters are integrating well as are the new signings who already know Serie A. We are working a lot, with a tough workload in the opening days but that is summer pre-season for you. We are benefiting from being at our home in the Suning Training Centre,” Gagliardini revealed in an interview with Inter TV.
Gagliardini, who joined Inter back in January 2017 from Atalanta, proceeded to wish Inter teammates Marcelo Brozovic and Ivan Perisic the best of luck for Sunday where they will compete against France for Croatia in the World Cup final.
“I hope that they win and come back here as world champions, that would be something unique.”
