After selling a number of youth prospects to balance the budget at the end of last season, Inter have moved to begin strengthening their Primavera again.
Along with Eddy Salcedo (from Genoa), Inter have now officially confirmed that they have snapped up Italian prospect Samuele Mulattieri for €2 million from Spezia.
The attacker, who is capable of playing in the centre and on both wings, was in high demand across Italy and Inter managed to secure his signature by including a percentage of any future re-sale in the deal, as well as a number of bonuses tied to the players performance.
The 17 year old is considered one of the nations brightest talents, having already made his first team debut for Spezia in Serie B. He has also earned six caps for the Italian U18 side, scoring one goal in the process. Mulattieri spent the majority of last season as a member of Spezia’s Primavera 2a side, scoring 13 goals in only 19 appearances.
