Luciano Spalletti has given his squad another day to relax (yesterday and today), excluding players who have just returned from holiday, as well as Radja Nainggolan who continues to work towards recovery. The Belgian will again miss Inter’s next preseason friendly game in Lecce against Lyon. As well as Borja Valero who is also struggling.
Nainggolan and Valero’s absence will mean that Inter will most likely line-up similarly to how they did versus Chelsea.
Yesterday, Vecino, Miranda and Joao Mario were spotted at Appiano Gentile, to perform medical examinations before returning to training for tomorrow, as reported by Corriere dello Sport. Although, it’s still unknown if Joao Mario will get to spend anytime with the group following his negative comments in the press and inevitable departure.
Perisic and Brozovic are due to arrive a bit later, given they reached the final. Spalletti will be hoping his new signings arrive quickly as his squad is still missing a lot of depth and could shrink as Vecino is also linked with a move away.
