The transfer rumor concerning Luka Modric’s purported move from Real Madrid to Inter is gaining momentum as Sky Sport Italia report with certainty that the Croatian international midfielder is destined to ask Real Madrid to let him leave.
According to the report, when the player has his meeting with Real Madrid President Florentino Perez, which is scheduled for either Sunday or Monday, he will tell the Los Merengues supremo that he wants to leave and ask him to honor the gentleman’s agreement that exists between the duo which we reported about yesterday.
Furthermore, Sky reports that after Modric has told Florentino Perez that it is time to part ways, there is no information on how Perez will react, something Inter are very eager to find out.
Luca Modric joined Real Madrid in August 2012 for a reported fee of £30 million and has since featured 257 times across all competitions scoring 13 goals in the process.
