Nainggolan & Borja Valero Could Miss Inter-Lyon But Miranda, Vecino & Joao Mario Could Feature

Team news ahead of tomorrow’s International Champions Cup tie with Lyon has began to filter through from Appiano Gentile.

Gazzetta dello Sport report that midfield duo Radja Nainggolan and Borja Valero are set to miss the clash with the French side at Lecce’s Stadio Via del Mare, which will be both sides penultimate fixture in the pre-season tournament. Corriere dello Sport instead report however that a decision on both players will be taken after training today.

Corriere dello Sport also report that Joao Miranda and Matias Vecino, two of Inter’s squad to have appeared at this Summer’s World Cup, are in line to make their debut appearance this season. They both only resumed training on Monday and are likely to only be given some playing time rather than the whole game.

Another player who could return to action is outcast Joao Mario. The Portuguese international, who has expressed a desire to leave the club, like Miranda and Vecino started preparations for the coming season on Monday.
