Inter could complete the signing of Keita Balde from French club Monaco by Saturday according to a report from Sport Italia.

The 23-year-old Senegalese winger is expected to join on a loan with right to redemption basis regardless of whether Antonio Candreva wishes to go the other way and join Monaco or not. The deal for Keita will simply be completed without the inclusion of Candreva – who was originally expected to be part of a loan swap deal.

Inter are not forcing Candreva out by any means or pushing him to make any decision and are leaving it up to him to decide whether he wants to stick around safe in the knowledge that he will have strong competition for a starting place in the team from Keita, who has been billed as the perfect addition to complete Inter manager Luciano Spalleti’s attack by some media outlets in the past week or so.
