After the victory in the International Champions Cup against Spanish side Atletico Madrid last night, Inter coach Luciano Spalletti gave his players two days off Gazzetta dello Sport reports.

The squad will in fact return to working at the club’s training ground in Appiano Gentile on Tuesday in order to be fully prepared for the Serie A opener on Sunday evening against away against Sassuolo at the Mapei Stadium.

Ivan Perisic and Sime Vrsaljko will return to training with the rest of the group the day after tomorrow, since they both played a lot of games during the FIFA World Cup in Russia where they together with the rest of the Croatian national team made it to the final where they lost to France.

Inter can also breathe out a  sigh of relief regarding new signing Kwadwo Asamoah who exited the Wanda Metropolitano Stadium last night a bit bruised, but Gazzetta dello Sport reports that this is nothing to worry about.
