Tuttosport have appeared to accuse Luka Modric of not doing enough to turn his desire of leaving Real Madrid in to a reality.
The Turin based newspaper say that the player simply did not do enough to push for the move away to Inter and the few interactions on social media would never have been enough on their own to get him his move away.
If Modric wanted his move, Tuttosport suggest that he should have went down the route of Cristiano Ronaldo, who took matters in to his own hands to get his way and a move to Juventus rather than rely on agents to get the job done on his behalf.
Modric keeping a low profile throughout and not publicly coming out and saying he wants away made keeping him at the Santiago Bernabeu an easy task for Real Madrid bosses.
The report goes on to state that the feeling is now there between Inter and Modric and it could simply just be a case of trying again come the January transfer window, unless he does of course sign a new contract with it being rumoured he will be offered a new and improved one.
