Despite other reports doing the rounds, Ivan Perisic and Milan Skriniar are both expected to be in the starting line-up for Inter’s Serie A opener away to Sassuolo on Sunday night according to a report from Corriere dello Sport.

Perisic only returned to training this time last week following an extended holiday break after his participation at the World Cup and it was originally feared that he would not quite be at the fitness levels required to start the match whereas Skriniar will recover in time from the strain that prevented him from taking to the training pitches at Appiano Gentile yesterday.

The only player who will not be called up for the game at the MAPEI Stadium is Radja Nainggolan, who has been sidelined with a thigh injury for a month.

Inter Predicted Line-up (4-2-3-1): Samir Handanovic; Danilo D’Ambrosio, Stefan De Vrij, Milan Skriniar, Dalbert; Marcelo Brozovic, Kwado Asamoah; Matteo Politano, Lautaro Martinez, Ivan Perisic; Mauro Icardi.
