Legendary Italian manager Arrigo Sacchi has gave his thoughts on how he believes Inter will fare this season following another strong summer where they welcomed no less than seven new faces.
“Inter will be competitive but remember in recent years that they have often been the queen of the summer campaigns and then disappoint their fans come the winter. They have changed coaches and players having had insufficient results in relation to the investment made, so what is wrong with the club, with its strategy, vision and leadership or is it just a team with unsatisfactory team spirit and game quality? The hypothetical problems would mean solving them and turning them into successes: Today for me, Inter is an enigma,” Sacchi, who was most famously behind the Milan side of the late 1980s and early 1990s that reigned supreme in European competitions, said in an interview with Milan based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport.
