Xian Emmers has officially been presented as a player of Cremonese following his arrival on a season long loan from Inter and shared his desire to prove himself at his presentation press conference.

“I grew up in Genk playing in front of the defence, but I feel more like an attacking midfielder now. Coming to Italy was my choice. I wanted to mature in a football atmosphere where it was possible to grow not only from a technical point of view, but also from a physical point of view.”

The Belgian youngster then spoke on his decision to join Cremonese over some Serie A clubs.

“I see Cremonese as a fundamental step in my journey and I know that I will have to give my best to earn my place in the team. Compared to the level of youth football it [senior football] is very different. I am lucky enough to be a fairly complete player now I would like to prove it.”
