Torino defensive duo Lorenzo De Silvestri and Armando Izzo are doubtful for the Granata’s trip to San Siro to take on Inter on Sunday night according to a report from Gazzetta dello Sport.

The pair both suffered injuries in the opening day loss at the hands of Roma and are following personalised training regimes separate from their teammates in a bid to speed up their recovery. They are to be monitored closely by the Toro medical staff right up until the game and Torino are hopeful of having them both back but do not wish to force them back and risk aggravating injuries.

The report from the Milan based newspaper goes on to report that M’Baye Niang has been cleared to play on Sunday. The Senegalese attacker has shaken off a muscle problem and will almost certainly be in Walter Mazzarri’s squad for the match, unlike Simone Edera who continues to train separately.
