It was a wild Summer full of uncertainty for striker Andrea Pinamonti, born in 1999. The youngster had been linked to many Serie A clubs  such as Udinese, Cagliari, Genoa, Chievo Verona and Bologna but in the end, the former Inter player was picked up by newly promoted Frosinone on the last day of the transfer window. Stefano Capozucca, Frosinone’s sporting director, spoke to FcInterNews and explained how this deal happened and how it developed.

How did the Pinamonti to Frosinone start?

“The transfer market in the last twelve hours is unpredictable. Unplanned situations may arise and develop very quickly.”

And is that how it was for Pinamonti?

“Yes. Also because Enzo Raiola, his agent, created the right conditions for the negotiation to materialize.”

Were you trying to get him on more than just a loan?

“No, that’s what we were interested in and that’s what we went for.”

What kind of season are you expecting for young Andrea?

“It all depends on him…”
