Former Milan midfielder and one time Balon D’Or winner Kaka gave his predictions for who can win the Scudetto this season.

“Juve have a lot of quality, a habit of winning and the right organisation. They are the best Serie A team on paper, that can not be disputed, but many things can happen and thinking big is in the club’s DNA.

“Football is an unpredictable game though. Juventus are ahead of everyone else, but I think the thrust of the Milan fans, who have regained their pride, can be a decisive factor in climbing the ladder.”

The Brazilian then tipped former Inter transfer target Luka Modric for this year’s Balon D’or and downplayed any potential impact his arrival at Inter could have had on Serie A as a whole.

“Balon D’or? Luka Modric. This year he has been impressive. He won the Champions League, he played in the World Cup final with Croatia and is the man who creates the show and commands the game.”

“I do not know [what his arrival would have done], as the Serie A is still very interesting as it is [without him].”
