This Sunday evening there is a great challenge at the San Siro between Inter and Torino – two teams that will want to redeem themselves after suffering 1-0 defeats in the first round of Serie A.
Walter Mazzarri is likely to select Andrea Belotti and Iagi Falque to lead the attack against his former side, but FcInterNews explains that it is another former Nerazzurro who historically represents the greatest threat. The Serbian, who did not feature at all last week against the Giallorossi, has scored against the Beneamata three times in ten games.
The first two came in 2013 during a 4-1 victory for Fiorentina over an Inter side led by Andrea Stramaccioni. The third occurred last season, as the winger got on the end of a Torino counter attack to score the decisive goal in a 1-0 victory for Mazzarri’s men.
Looking at the remainder of the squad, both Andrea Belotti and Emiliano Moretti have scored twice against Inter, whilst all of Daniele Baselli, Simone Zaza, Iago Falque, M’Baye Niang and Armando Izzo have all scored one. New signing Roberto Soriano will be looking to open his account against the Nerazzurri.
