Inter’s Slovakian central defender Milan Skriniar was interviewed in the latest release by Inter Media House known as Matchday-program.

The former Sampdoria player began by speaking about the San Siro stating that: “The San Siro literally leaves you breathless, When I arrived here for the first time as an opponent I couldn’t resist, I took photo’s, selfies, I had a feeling of being in a fantastic stadium.”

Skriniar continued by talking about his feelings towards Inter saying that: “Inter means a lot to me, Since I was a child I wanted to play in a big team and these colors made that desire come true, amplified a thousand times. I am in a top-team and it is beautiful to have returned to the Champions League.”

In conclusion Skriniar spoke about his childhood: “I left home at the age of 12 and I began playing as a striker. My idol was Ronaldo, Il Fenomeno, that played for Inter. The first match I saw was a match between the Czech Republic and Slovakia which I attended together with my family, if I remember correctly. What I remember really well was the atmosphere, it was incredible, difficult to explain. The first Christmas gift I got were a pair of football boots. I was 5-6 years old and it is a moment I will always have inside me.”
