Italian pundit Luigi Garlando has reflected on Inter’s 2-2 draw with Torino in his weekly column for Milanese newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport.

“Just one point from two games: not exactly what Inter, who are seen as the possible anti-Juventus, wanted. With two goals they were in full control in the first half. The Nerazzurri, though were unable to handle an excellent Torino who recovered. Inter are now 5 points off from the top of the table which creates worry for the confusing state of Spalletti’s technical project.

“One of Inter’s strengths seemed to be the tactical identity gained in the last season but in fact, Spalletti is back in the pipeline and, at the moment, you can not guess the team.”

“Inter are not missing a CR7 but are missing a Mirelem Pjanic. When the media said that Modric was the cake and not the icing we meant this. A technical leader is missing. Brozovic is not enough. At the first difficulties, the boat sinks.
