Libero journalist Fabrizio Biasin has moved to defend Samir Handanovic in wake of the Slovenian’s glaring error that allowed Torino back in to the game in last night’s 2-2 draw.

Handanovic spectacularly misread a long ball from Torino’s Iago Falque and ran past the ball leaving Granata captain Andrea Belotti with an empty not to slot home in to.

“No matter how bad a mistake can be, you never lose because of just one player. Yesterday Handanovic made a huge error, but the biggest problem is the senseless panic that was generated soon after. Panic does not make you win even if you have Yashin in goal,” Biasin tweeted out in defence of the Slovenian shot stopper.
