Vrsaljko & Asamoah Both Forced Off Last Night – Here’s There Respective Situations

Inter duo Sime Vrsaljko and Kwadwo Asamoah were both forced off the pitch in last night’s 2-2 draw at home to Torino due to injuries to their ankles and according to Tuttosport, Asamoah is the worst off of the two.

Vrsaljko collided with Cristian Ansaldi at the half way point of the first half, a collision that instantly forced Toro defender Ansaldi off the field. Vrsaljko soldiered on but succumbed to the injury and was replaced on the 72nd minute by Keita Balde. Post match the Croatian international was quizzed on his injury wherein he confirmed that while he is in some pain he will be fine for the next game with Bologna next weekend.

Asamoah’s situation on the other hand, as per the Turin based newspaper, seems a bit more serious. The Ghanaian limped off the field and looked to be in a fair amount of pain once off the field.
