In an interview given in Il Resto Del Carlino in the week leading up to Bologna-Inter Evaristo Beccalossi, Inter midfielder from 1978 to 1984, told a story about the curious background on his career: “I had already said yes to Bologna, Corioni and Governato had come to Salsomaggiore and we had found the agreement. When they went to speak with the Sporting Director of Inter however, the Nerazzurri asked for too much and nothing came of it.”
