D’Ambrosio Took A Hit During Inter’s Win Against Bologna

It was not just Nainggolan, Icardi, and Lautaro Martinez that had suffered knocks during or before yesterday’s victory against Bologna. Even Danilo D’Ambrosio took a hit during the game.

According to Gazzetta dello Sport, D’Ambrosio had to be substituted for Sime Vrsaljko at the end of the match as he suffered a muscle strain. The Italian defender sat on the bench where he iced his injury, and is scheduled to be checked by medical staff on Tuesday to see what kind of injury the player has suffered.

This International break could be seen as a positive by many fans as many of the Inter players need some time to recover and regain full fitness including Lautaro Martinez and Mauro Icardi (who have both suffered knocks before the game against Bologna and thus missed the opportunity to play.) Radja Nainggolan also needs time in order to recover and regain the fitness and stamina that he is known for as he has just come back from a considerably lengthy injury.
