Inter’s Champions League Exclusions: Joao Mario, Dalbert & One Of Gagliardini Or Vecino

Antonio Candreva had gone through a lot of ups and downs this Summer. First it appeared as though he was leaving Milan in order to join Monaco in a deal that would see Keita Balde join Inter, but after refusing that offer, Candreva opted to stay.

It was then made clear to him that he was far down the pecking order of wingers as Spalletti had chosen to play Perisic, Keita Balde, Lautaro, Politano, and even Karamoh who has been officially loaned out to Bourdeaux. Now that Candreva has decided to stay at Inter, things might be looking up for him, starting with the fact that he scored a goal against Bologna, which is a huge turn-around for him considering the fact that he failed to find the back of the net a single time last season despite starting 33 times for Inter.

According to Gazzetta dello Sport, it seems as though things might continue to look up for Candreva as he might be included in the UEFA Champions League list that Inter will present tomorrow. Luciano Spalletti will have 20 players and the exclusions could include: Joao Mario, Dalbert, and one of Gagliardini or Vecino.
