Michele Di Gregorio’s agent Carlo Alberto Belloni spoke on the collapse of his loan move to Avellino in an interview with FCInterNews.it
“Everything was agreed for him go to Avellino. Then, and this is a story that everyone knows today, at the beginning of August the situation changed and precipitates the non-registration of the club in Serie B so he returned back to Milan.
“Most of the teams in Serie B by this time had of course already covered themselves in the goalkeeping role and we therefore looked around a little for another club.”
Belloni then spoke on Serie C side Novara, who Di Gregorio has been loaned to for the coming season.
“They are a club who really wanted Michele. We opted for Novara because it they are a club with specific goals for the season. Of course, they went down to Serie C, but we know what the club’s situation is. We await to understand what will happen on September 7th [when they could be re-admitted to Serie B despite the season already being underway].
