No Concerns For Either D’Ambrosio And Nainggolan

Radja Nainggolan had already reassured fans on social media, but Danilo D’Ambrosio kept quiet, so concern started to arise around his physical condition. However, now Gazzetta dello Sport report that the Italian is doing well and requires no further medical examinations.

Both went back to full training with the rest of the group, but perhaps the concern was a sign of the great amount of effort both players put into the game against Bologna. For the rest of the week – minus the 11 players off on international duty – the team will only have one session per day, plus a personalised routine for all players, not just Nainggolan and D’Ambrosio.

Fitness has been a huge problem throughout the start of the new season, with Miranda, Sime Vrsaljko, Lautaro Martinez and Mauro Icardi experiencing twinges that have resulted in them being sidelined as a precaution, but even those who have not had problems, seem more sluggish. Although, this is usually expected after an international tournament, but Inter seem worse off than most.
