Former Inter and Parma midfielder Dino Baggio has spoken ahead of the two clubs locking horns in the first match back after the international break is over.
“I did not expect the Nerazzurri to encounter the difficulties they did in the first two challenges games but they played well against Bologna. The real improvement was lead by Radja Nainggolan. He helps in both phases and Spalletti turned him into playmaker and he was waiting for him to make 4-2-3-1 work better. I think Inter is now on the right track. Parma can only improve and in the first half with Juventus they could even have taken the lead. With the purchase of Gervinho, they added a lot of quality and for me they will have a decent campaign.
“The game will certainly be in the hands of Inter and for the Ducali it will be difficult because the Biscione plays at home and wants to give continuity to the results. They must be careful because Parma can be deadly on the counter and will be able to punish them.”
Baggio, in the interview with FCInterNews.it, then spoke on what he thinks the season will hold for both clubs.
“Inter must absolutely finish in one of top four places. They must try to undermine Juventus too. For the Nerazzurri it will be essential to measure the strength well and in my opinion Spalletti will be able to juggle all the players he has at his disposal. Parma meanwhile will try to avoid relegation in plenty of time and then get even stronger and raise the target bar for next season.”
