Inter legend Giuseppe ‘Beppe’ Bergomi spoke on Inter’s transfer window and the importance of Radja Nainggolan to the Inter cause in an interview with Leggo.

“They have added experience and I see a very physical team, which depends a lot on Nainggolan, the most important man. Last year they tried many players before finding Rafinha. In the end there has to be someone that can also score double figures to help Icardi and Perisic. I like this Inter.

“Ninja is fundamental, he was the most important purchase, a player who works in both phases of the game and when he goes up, Skriniar comes in behind.”

Bergomi then spoke on Marcelo Brozovic’s role as a regista in the team and the recovery of Antonio Candreva.

“Marcelo is good enough. He proved it last year but now Inter are paying for the fitness of their Croatian’s, who have trained less than others. I think Candreva can guarantee Inter 7 or 8 goals this season.”

Bergomi concluded the interview by speaking on the partnership of Mauro Icardi and Lautaro Martinez.

“Inter was not built to play with either on their own. I like Lautaro and he does not have to be a reserve like Eder, who started every 10 games or so. He is definitely involved in the project.”
