“I am young and I have many goals to achieve, one of these is to win with Inter. When I arrived there were so many expectations. unfortunately I could not meet them. After the Olympics there was a lot of pressure on me both the fans and media were expecting a lot, I did my best to adapt to Italy, but things They did not go well.

“Having said that, I will not give up and I think about the future: the disappointing season in Milan will be useful for my growth.”

The Brazilian striker then spoke on Inter as a club.

“Inter is a top club, they have won everything and many Brazilians have made history with the Nerazzurri, and I had no doubt in accepting their proposal, even though there were many equally important ones on the table. I will never forget the love of the fans. They have always supported me and I am a fan too, I have always watched Inter matches on TV.”

He proceeded to discuss his future.

“I have a contract at Inter until 2021 and I am calm, now I am thinking of Santos and giving my best. There were various other possibilities, but I just wanted the Santos, I was sure it would be the ideal choice, just so I would be back to my levels.

“Here everything is great, I am very happy. I play in the club that raised me and I wanted again. My loan ends on December 31st.”

Gabigol concluded the interview by speaking on current Inter manager Luciano Spalletti.

“I spoke with him when he arrived at Inter, then I left on loan. He is a great coach with a lot of experience, he has a strong team at his disposal and he has everything to do well in Italy and Europe.”
