Inter youngster Xian Emmers has spoken on the early stage of his season long loan with Serie B side Cremonese.
“I am happy to be in Cremona. Cremona seems to me to be a quiet city and I like it. Milan is a beautiful city but too chaotic for me. My debut was a good experience against Palermo. I felt a lot of emotion at first but then I got over it.”
The Belgian youngster then spoke on how he came to arriving in Italy in the first place.
“My father told me to come to Italy, he played for Perugia in 1997 and he liked it. He told me that I would learn to become a real player here. Here the match does not end at the full time whistle like in Belgium, but goes on for the whole following week.”
Emmers proceeded to speak on his former Primavera manager Stefano Vecchi and Inter manager Luciano Spalletti.
“I learned a lot about tactics from Vecchi. He is a great teacher of how we should move on the field. From Spalletti I have learnt about the passing game and the fact that the ball must be moved quickly.”
