As per a report from Gazzetta dello Sport, Radja Nainggolan, Marcelo Brozovic, Samir Handanovic and Milan Skriniar are understood to be the four players that Inter manager Luciano Spalletti will be heavily relying upon this season, at least until the January transfer window when reinforcements could arrive.

When together at Roma, Spalletti had Nainggolan play in 53 of their total 54 games during the 2016/17 season and relied on him heavily to deliver week in week out, something the Belgian did as he helped Roma achieve their greatest ever points total.

As no reinforcement arrived in the summer, Brozovic is having to work overtime in the midfield. As for Handanovic, a lack of competition to replace him means Spalletti will have no option but to rely on him to deliver. Skriniar on the other hand is an undisputed starting centre back while Stefan de Vrij and Miranda battle it out to partner him in the heart of the defence.
