Inter youngster Xian Emmers has spoken on his loan spell with Cremonese and shared his desire to succeed at Inter in the years to come.

“On a personal level I will try to continue on the path of growth and find space in a challenging league like the Serie B.”

The Belgian then spoke on Inter manager Luciano Spalletti and his dream of having a future in the Inter first team.

Spalletti is a very experienced coach and to spend my first team retreat with him was important, a real privilege in fact and I am very happy that the coach granted me some space during friendlies and summer tournaments. In my opinion he can do great things for Inter this season and I wish the Nerazzurri the best. It is a dream of mine to have a future at Inter.

Emmers also spoke on Stefano Vecchi who coached him at Primavera level.

“He was fundamental for my growth both from a tactical and a mental point of view. He is a manager who always asks his boys for maximum commitment and professionalism.”
