Rome based newspaper Corriere dello Sport discusses the difficulties that Inter have faced so far along with the challenges that are still waiting for them.
According to the report “Inter have become stronger and richer this year, but the next moves that Inter have to make will be mental rather than technical. Inter have great players but do not have the mentality that comes with being a big team. We saw the team gasping and ultimately losing against Sassuolo, we also saw them dominating Torino for 45 minutes and then crashing and letting Torino get back in the second half. There were many question marks during those games, and even the win against Bologna could have meant a lot more if it was not against one of the most fragile teams in the league.
This is why Inter is the team that is the most intriguing at the moment. So far we have been seeing a lot of Inter’s limits, but not enough of their qualities. If you look at the staff, they are only second to Juve in the league. These are decisive days for Spalletti’s work as Inter will face Parma in the Serie A and Tottenham in the Champions League.
