Having picked up both Stefan de Vrij and Kwadwo Asamoah on free transfers over the summer, Inter could look to take advantage of the abundance of high quality players who will be out of contract next summer unless they sign new contracts with their respective clubs, a report from Tuttosport suggests.
From January Inter will be able to approach players with expiring contracts on a pre-contract basis and there is certainly no shortage of options for them to consider.
Among the names are several players who have previously drawn an interest from the Nerazzurri. Paris St. Germain’s Adrien Rabiot and Angel Di Maria, Tottenham Hotspur’s Toby Alderweireld and Mousa Dembele and Manchester United’s Anthony Martial are all players with less than a year left on their current deals at their clubs.
Whether Inter use their expiring contract situations as an opportunity to go back in for them does of course remain to be seen.
