Former Inter and Parma goalkeeper Sebastien Frey has spoken ahead of the two clubs meeting on Saturday afternoon and firstly spoke on his time at each club in an interview with Gazzetta dello Sport.
“With the Nerazzurri I had some beautiful moments, even if they are complicated. My time Parma? They were wonderful years. It was there that I proved to be a real goalkeeper.”
Frey, who spent three seasons at Inter, spoke on the idea of the Nerazzurri being the anti-Juventus and missing out on Luka Modric in the transfer window.
“Inter must be the anti-Juventus. They invested well in the summer. Had Luka Modric arrived it would have changed everything. If he went to Frosinone he would probably have them fighting for the Champions League [laughs].
Frey then questioned where Inter might have been had they not had Samir Handanovic in goals for them in recent years.
