Tottenham manager, Mauricio Pochettino spoke at a press conference and with Sky Sports specifically about the upcoming matches against Liverpool and the Champions League fixture against Inter.

He primarily spoke about the fitness of specific players starting with Dele Alli who came off from the match against Spain after only playing 20 minutes and is likely to miss the next two aforementioned matches: “Dele is a bit unlucky, he got hurt after 20 minutes of the match against Spain, we are disappointed because he will miss the match against Liverpool and maybe even the Champions League with Inter , but this is not a huge problem, I hope it will be available soon.”

Harry Kane seems to be fit ahead of the upcoming matches, and Pocchettino did not express any worries about his captain and striker. “I think he’s fit, I have not read or heard what’s going on around him, the most important thing for me is that we trust him. He’s one of the best strikers in the world. When an attacker does not score, people he must find a reason.”

Hugo Lloris on the other hand, is not injured, but was pulled over by police for driving while intoxicated about which the Argentinian coach stated: “He said he is sorry, anyone can make a mistake, he did it and he is suffering, he is punishing himself. He is the first to tell me that he made a mistake, this is a lesson for everyone.”
