Former Inter and Parma striker Alberto Gilardino reflected upon Parma’s surprise 1-0 victory over Inter yesterday at San Siro courtesy of a wonder strike from defender Federico Dimarco.

“Parma had a good game at San Siro against Inter. They have brought home all three points having taken full advantage of one of the few opportunities they had,” Gilardino said in an interview with RMC Sport.

The 2006 World Cup winner, who is currently a free agent having left Spezia in the summer, then spoke on who he believes will win the Scudetto this season.

“Juventus are the team to beat, they just get better every year. In the Champions League they will fight until the end.”
